AFOP's Micro Optic Components include power monitors, isolators and optical circulators.
The miniature integrated Power Monitor is designed for channel monitoring in dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) systems and Add/Drop modules. They can also be used for signal/pump power monitoring in Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifiers (EDFAs) and Raman amplifiers where integrated solutions tend to replace traditional fused fiber tap and photodiodes.

AFOP Hybrid Tap/WDM Isolators combine a wavelength division multiplexer, a tap coupler and an isolator in a compact package. Our hybrid tap/WDM isolator is ideal for fiber optic amplifier applications. We also offer a single stage and dual stage Polarization Insensitive Isolators (PII) that minimize back reflection and back scattering in the reverse direction at any state of polarization.

AFOP Optical Circulators are non-reciprocal devices that redirect light from port-to port sequentially in only one direction. In advanced optical communication systems, circulators are used for bi-directional transmission, WDM networks, fiber amplifier systems, and for Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) measurements.
