2+ years of hands-on related experience with passive fiber-optic device test.
Familiar with device parameters and the testing methodologies. Be able to lay

Engineering Manager, Job Code: AWB002.RD - Seeking individual with good all around engineering management experience in fiber optic industry with particular emphasis on passive components. Responsibilities include planning and execution of engineering activities to support production engineering issues and new product design and developments. Successful candidate must have extensive hands-on experience (4 years) in related works and have at a year of direct managing experience for both project development and people. Must be familiar with typical ISO requirements for product development, production engineering support issues, and quality issues. Must be results oriented, schedule driven and highly disciplined. Must be able to travel 75+% of time for a non-PRC candidate. Must have BS or above degree or equivalent. Good English oral and written communication skills and bi-lingual (English/Mandarin) language skills required. Local candidates preferred.
Senior Optical Engineer, Job Code: AWB003.RD - 4+years of hands-on related experience with a passive fiber optical component company and have personally developed more than a single end product and pushed them to production and market. Must be familiar with geometric and physical optics, can do design and simulations of micro-optic components and have deep understanding of all basic process issues (epoxy properties, temperature effects, packaging and integration issues). Must have good understanding of Telcordia and ISO requirements on quality and reliability. Non PRC local candidates must be able to travel 75+% of time. Minimum BS degree in related fields. Bilingual (Mandarin/English) language skill is a must.
Sr. & Staff Opto-mechanical Engineers, Job Code: AWB001.RD - 3+ yrs of experience in the design of mechanical structures for optical and fiber optic devices, modules and subsystems. Must be proficient in Solid Works and can effectively handle design, prototype, vendor-sourcing, with or without supervision. Must be hands on for telecom products from device to rack-mount modules, to packaging, to fixtures/tools, and to material selections. Need to know telecom or military reliability requirements. Familiarity with FEA, thermal, and vibration modeling a plus. Minimum BS degree in related fields. Must be able to travel 75+% of time for a non-PRC candidate. Bilingual (Mandarin/English) language skill is a must. Local candidate preferred.
Electrical Engineer, Job Code: AWB004.RD - 2+years of hands-on related experience with circuit designs and can use Protel and Orcad design tools. Must be familiar with 8051, PIC or other microprocessors and have some development experience in assembly, C++, VB, VC or LabView languages. Must have some experience of performing basic trouble shooting and fixing tasks for simple instruments. Non PRC local candidates must be able to travel 75+% of time. Minimum BS degree in related fields. Bilingual (Mandarin/English) language skill is a must.
